The most significant recent news item is the choice of Pirates of Penzance (Broadway Edition) for the Autumm 2008 show.
Auditions took place in late April for Little Cosette and the Director Scott St Martin will be choosing two girls to play the part during May. This is the one remaing part to be cast for "Les Miserables (Schools Edition)" our open air show. Venue and dates - Nothe Fort, Weymouth. 30 Jul to 3 Aug 2008.

After 26 years Janet Stockley has decided to stand down as Society Chair and her place has been taken by Kevin Morris who has a background in theatre and performance, currentlt being a member of Dorchester Drama Club. He also participated in the recent Dorcehster Community Play. The Society is very pleased to welcome Kevin as our new Chair and offers its heart felt thansk to Janet for all her years of hard work and devotion to the group. She has not however completely retired but remains as Chorus Master and a commitee member.
